BEFORE

This amazing (Re-Purposed for interior use) standing pendant started life as an elegant hanging (Suspension) Street Light in Ann Arbor MI during the 1930’s. This unit would have adorned an exclusive residential neighborhood or hung impressively over an up scaled main boulevard.

As with all of my work this was an extensive 100% restoration leaving no stone unturned.
You can always be assured that my items are as beautiful on the inside where possibly nobody will ever see as they are on the outside.

This unit is impressive with a whopping 52" circumference at it's waist and an amazing Art Deco cast Silica/Aluminum Body with an interesting mechanical position adjuster.

The heavy diffused Corning glass globe is perfect (Very Rare) and sparkles from any angle whether illuminated or not. This unit has been completely rewired and properly grounded with an appropriate heavy 3 prong plug. A porcelain medium or standard base bulb adaptor has been installed in the original large Mogul base Porcelain socket so that any array of regular low wattage bulbs can be utilized. As with all of my Restored/ Re-Purposed Vintage Industrial Light Fixtures this unit is targeted for the most demanding of interior locations.

This unit is currently designed as a floor standing pendant at 50” tall but can be modified to fit your specific needs. I can make this unit taller and with a slightly larger base for stability or I can make it shorter as an extremely impressive table lamp.

As this is a heavy fixture attention has been given to making sure that it has solid 2" diameter 1/2" thick rubber feet to protect your valuable floors or furniture.

Please feel free to contact regarding more info or pictures.

Note: I do have (1) more identical unit if you might like to flank both sides of your entry or fireplace. Another amazing combo would be utilizing one as a table lamp and the other as a tall floor unit?

Thank you for looking

  1. This is absolutely beautiful! I can't believe how you're able to make something from virtually scrap into a work of art. I can see these lights in my home bringing new life to it. Can't wait to see what else you restore and refurbish!!!
